HISTORYThis looks a very conservative wedding party, with long sleeves and gloves. It appears to be taken in the 1930’s. Rene’s maiden name was Allison, perhaps related to one of the pioneer familes. Nurse Allison worked as a nurse, and advertised her hospital in the local paper.
DESCRIPTIONThis photograph shows a wedding party of four. The bride, and three bridesmaids. Two of the bridesmaids are adults, and the third a little girl, maybe a maid of honour. Each one has a long gown and the three adults have long sleeves and gloves. They are carrying huge bouquets. The little girl has a long gown with short puff sleeves. The bride has a long train, and this has been spread in the foreground of the picture.
