HISTORY

In December 1967 some serious alterations, demolishing, construction was done in Main Street to the existing shops. This is thought to be the rear of the Chemist. There are a whole series of photographs of this work, all taken at this time.

DESCRIPTION

This shows the rear of a red brick building, which is being altered. It has an industrial appearance. There is scaffolding in the foreground, and a pile of rubble and builders sand too.
