To the left there is a picket fence, and a sign leaning against this “Chemist, now open”.

HISTORY

In December 1967 some serious alterations, demolishing, construction was done in Main Street to the existing shops. This is thought to be the rear of the Chemist. There are a whole series of photographs of this work, all taken at this time.
