HISTORY

In December 1967 some serious alterations, demolishing, construction was done in Main Street to the existing shops. This is thought to be the rear of the Chemist. There are a whole series of photographs of this work, all taken at this time.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows the side of a white brick shop. There is part of the sign visible on the shop front and it is the Chemist shop. There is part of an advert for film visible too. In the foreground is a small rock wall which is broken at the end, and on the left of the picture there is a white picket fence.
