HISTORY

In December 1967 some serious alterations, demolishing, construction was done in Main Street to the existing shops. This is thought to be the rear of the Chemist. There are a whole series of photographs of this work, all taken at this time.

DESCRIPTION

This photograph shows the side of a shop. It is a tall brick wall, painted white. In the foreground is a small rock wall. In the background, there is a glimpse of a yellow painted industrial truck of some sort, with caterpillar tyres. There is also a man stood watching.
