HISTORY

In December 1967 some serious alterations, demolishing, construction was done in Main Street to the existing shops. This is thought to be the rear of the Chemist. There are a whole series of photographs of this work, all taken at this time.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows two work men pouring concrete at the base of a red brick wall. It is evidently the rear of a shop in Main Street. The older man is wearing a blue shirt and a white hat. The younger man is bare chested.
