HISTORY

These two photos appear to tell the story of this particular shop. One shows the shop in April 1965, and the other shows building works in March 1968.

DESCRIPTION

1. This photo shows some metal scaffolding and a red brick wall construction alongside the side wall of an existing shop. The existing shop is in white brick. There are three ladders leaning on various parts of the construction.
2. This shows a shop front window. It has a black tile surround, and blue tiles around the shop window itself. In the window are ladies dresses and jewellery. There is a sign “Stock Clearance-all goods half price”
