DESCRIPTION1. This shows some serious road works going on in Main Street. The business sign to the right states “Shell”, so it must be a Service Station. On the right of the image is a large tip truck filled with gravel. There is a large furrow in the road, and the industrial digger machine is in the centre of the picture. There is a white work man’s helmet in the foreground.
2.This is the same work but at a different stage. In the back ground is a Butcher, and the State Savings Bank with it’s distinctive yellow and black sign. In the foreground are two work men, and the red truck. On the right of the picture the digger can be seen.
