Made by Walter Pollock's wife before they were married in 1887. Her initials J.H. (Jane Hirst) are stitched on the lining.

Blue velvet embroidered smoking cap with hand embroidered button and silk tassel. Embroidery and tassel in yellow and blue. Belonged to Walter Pollock 1847 - 1931 London - Sydney
