One print donated to N H S photograph collection by Mr Ivan Croad, the other probably donated by another local resident.

DESCRIPTION

2 old prints, probably 1896, of a group of young ladies who had been the "Spinsters" at the annual Bachelors' and Spinsters Tea meeting in the Mechanics' Institute Hall. Taken from the other side of the road, with onlookers in the background using umbrellas.
