HISTORY

Rate books established that Edward Ford was paying the rates on on land in this locality from 1864, describing the property as “10 acres and house, 6 acres, shop and garden owned by J. Barker.
In 1873 G. White was listed as the owner and Edward Ford as the occupier.

DESCRIPTION

Two-roomed cottage built of saplings and daub. External chimney. Two windows. Corrugated iron roof. Well at the left hand side of the house. Tree at the right hand side.
