HISTORYCemetery contains the graves of some of the early white settlers of the district, particularly members of the Cairns family, the first of whom settled in Boneo soon after their arrival in Australia in 1852. The cemetery is on private land and is protected under the Shire of Flinders Planning Scheme and by arrangements with the landowner.
DESCRIPTIONFirst photo shows field in which there is a stone monument with a plaque concerning the graves at the location. Cows and trees are featured in the photo. Second photo depicts the wording on the plaque.
