Balnarring 2003. Shopping trolley shelter.
Ritchies Supermarket built a shopping trolly shelter in the brick paved area in front of the store. At that time the supermarket was in its first location on the corner of Frankston Flinders and Balnarring Roads. It then adjoined a pharmacy and a newsagent business.

A larger ‘stand alone’ store was built in Russell Street c.2005 when patronage increased. At that time the Balnarring Ritchies business was one of the most profitable the Ritchies Supermarkets chain.
