Maggie Hurley’s 100th birthday celebration held at her home ‘Haselgrove’ in Balnarring Road. Two young girls, her relatives, are playing accordions.
William and Joanna Hurley arrived in the area of Balnarring prior to 1865. They camped on Buckley’s land for three years before selecting lots 109 & 109a in Balnarring Road. They had a family of 13 children. Maggie was their youngest daughter who never married and lived past her 100th year.
