Mrs Walker in front of No 3 Salmon Street which was scheduled for demolition. The building had at one time been served as Hastings’ first picture theatre: the little Ko zee which showed films for about seven years. Mrs Walker used to accompany the silent pictures and some of the early ‘talkies’ on a piano, which she still had in her possession.
