HISTORY

Merricks no date. Merricks Store. Merricks Store catered to local people and to summer campers from Merricks Beach as a general store. It ceased operating as a general store in the 1980s. In circa 2005 it was refitted as a winery sales outlet cum daytime restaurant. The interior was modeled on the interior of the old store as recorded in photographs. It enjoyed good patronage from tourists.
