HISTORY

Somers c.1965. Head of the Creek rafting competition. This was an annual challenge between the Westernport Yacht Club and the somers Yacht club. The home made rafts negotiated the Balnarring - Somers length of the Creek. They were flour bombed by spectators as they passed under the bridges.
