HISTORY

Balnarring Beach 2011, store interior: historical photographs in cafe corner.
The Beach Store was rebuilt in the early 1970s in brick. It then sold a modest range of groceries and catered to beach visitors as a milk bar.. It gradually shifted its emphasis to become mainly a milk bar / fast food outlet. A cafe corner with tables, chairs and a lounge was established and collection of historic photographs depicting Balnarring Beach area scenes was mounted for the entertainment of customers.
