HISTORYBalnarring Beach1990s. The beach barbecue shelter, ‘Rotunda’, and nearby toilet block were built by the Hastings Shire in the 1970s. It replaced a wooden shelter.
It was the only such shelter from vagaries of weather and attracted visiting groups who could be sure of picnic facilities at any time of year.
