HISTORY

Merricks Beach c.1965. A view of Westernport Bay from the cliff top with Phillip Island in the distance.
The photo Card was used as a promotion of the area by Westons.
Alf Weston rented a beach shack from c.1940 from the Cole family and ran a store there. A new store was built on the corner of Wave Street.
Two sons: After Alf’s death John Weston ran the store while George Weston established a real estate business.
