The Kiosk, Mount Martha, 1949The photograph shows a single storey weather board building. There is a petrol bowser at the front, and a semi-trailer bus in front of the building. On the left side of the building is a telephone box ,and a wooden fence, with a light pole. At the bottom left it is printed “The Kiosk, Mount Martha”. There are trees in the background.

Hygeia at Mornington Pier, 1906This photograph shows Mornington Pier with a crowd of people boarding, and disembarking the Hygeia steam boat. It has two masts, and two funnels with smoke belching out. There are several small boats in the foreground.

Main Street, Mornington, c1960This black and white photograph of a Rose Series postcard shows Main Street Mornington from the first floor of a building. The view looks in the direction of the sea. It shows various shops. Sennitt’s, and Hast are clearly signed. Cars are parked either side of the street. The cars shown are VW, Holden, Morris, Austin, and Ford ,of the period which appears to be 1950’s or early 1960’s.

Mornington Jetty, 1912This black and white photograph shows a huge wave breaking over the Jetty. A bay trading ketch is sheltering behind the break water.

Fisherman Bridge, Mornington c1900This charming tinted postcard shows a wooden bridge over water. On the left there is a woman wearing a long frock and boater hat sitting on a steep bank by the bridge. On the back is a hand written letter to Miss Unthank.

Scene at Mornington, the Pier from the Parade, c1900This postcard shows a woman sitting above the beach looking toward the Mornington Pier. She is surrounded by scraggly ti trees. There is a boat with two masts moored between the break water and the pier.

Pier and Baths MorningtonThis postcard shows a view of the Pier and the Baths taken from the foreshore. There is a yacht on the right of the picture. There is a steam ship moored at the Pier.
