Cooler, butterTwo circular bowls made of plaster of Paris used for keeping butter cool. Containers are porous and soaked in water, butter is placed inside one and covered by the other and kept cool by evaporation of the water.

Press, butterRectangular wooden box with an open bottom, fixed together with dovetailing, reinforced with screws. In the top is a hole into which fits a cylindrical wooden handle attached to a rectangular block of wood with a pattern carved into its base. The handle moves up and down to imprint the pattern onto the butter.

Pin, rollingHollow clear glass rolling pin, open at one end to enable cold water to be put inside, and sealed with a cork.

BottleSmall round clear thick glass bottle with long neck. Around the shoulder are the words in raised letters “Edwd Pew & Cos Sauce”|
