Mornington Pier, c1900This shows a roadway down to the Pier, with people making their way down to where a Paddle Steamer is moored. In the centre there is a man leaning on the fence which borders the pathway. To the left on the hill is the beacon, which was lit manually to aid safe shipping in the area.
