Plaque, 1976This memorial metal plaque is attached to a brick wall. It reads as follows: “In memory of Eddy Fisher died February 4th 1976 in recognition of over 53 years voluntary service in teaching children to swim”.

Memorial, 1929This image shows a brick and chain fence with a memorial behind it. Grass, mangroves and water are in the background. A footpath and road are in the foreground. Part of a tree can be seen on the far right-hand side.

Monument, c. 1940This image shows a monument with a sculpture of a naked soldier wearing an ancient Greek head dress. A flag can be seen on the far left-hand side of the image and two soldiers are placed either side of flowers and palm fronds. The following is printed across the bottom in both English and Greek: “ATHENS, The unknown Soldier’s Grave”.
