Letter 1918A typed letter, probably typed from the original, from Lieutenant Graeme Stobie of “C” Company to Mr Romeo, expressing his condolences for the death of Mr Romeo’s son, Private M. Romeo. The letter is headed “France” and dated 20/6/18

Monument, c. 1940This image shows a monument with a sculpture of a naked soldier wearing an ancient Greek head dress. A flag can be seen on the far left-hand side of the image and two soldiers are placed either side of flowers and palm fronds. The following is printed across the bottom in both English and Greek: “ATHENS, The unknown Soldier’s Grave”.
