Kirkpatrick’s Hotel, MorningtonThis shows the hotel in the Spanish Mission style. It is a two storey rendered building featuring turned columns either end of the verandah on the top storey. There is a square doorway entrance in the centre at the front which protrudes in a curved shape, and at the top of the portico is the name Kirkpatrick’s. Kirkpatrick’s Hotel, Mornington, c1920This shows Kirkpatrick’s Hotel to the left with several tall Pine trees then the Royal Hotel to the right of the photograph. The style of Kirkpatrick’s is Spanish Mission, two storey rendered ,with decorative twisted columns.There are circular steps up to the front entrance. There is a car parked outside Kirkpatrick’s. The lower level of the Royal is blocked in at the time. The roof is now tiled.
