The inscription consists of a triangle in which are 9 circles with initials, a banner containing the manufacturer's name and a smaller triangle with the manufacturer's initials. Around the triangle are the words "very old special scotch whiskey D.C.L. brand" "gold medal" "Edinburgh EXbn 1886". Lid and spigot missing.

Churn, butterGlass butter/cream churn. Glass mason type oblong jar with"1L" stamped on the bottom. It has a metal screw top with 2 cogged fly wheels and a wooden turning handle attached to a shaft with a tin blade inside the jar.

Dish, glassCircular clear glass dish with scalloped or fluted sides, the rim of which is decorated with small fine beading. The dish stands on three small rounded and decorated feet.
