The bowl is made of clear glass, circular in shape, with a flat bottom and top. The fittings are brass. Markings inside the base read: "Ro No. 13420".

A metal fitting fits around the top at the base so the lamp can be held with the index finger. The clear glass flue is cylindrical with an enlarged base and tapered top.
