Painting, watercolourFramed watercolour painting by R. Whiten painted in 1909, almost certainly depicts the Victorian Colonial Navy's 1st class torpedo boat, Countess of Hopetoun, painted at sea. The frame is handmade from recycled timber, and the water-colour is protected by a plastic sheet.

FlagOblong flag with triangular cut-out shape at right hand end. In 3 sections - left hand side is triangular, light brown in colour, with 2 same-material circles and a navy blue “H” sewn on. Top section is plain light-brown,bottom section is navy blue. Flag is framed on a light-brown background with a navy border and lacquered timber frame.

DocumentsA typed sheet of the Hastings Yacht Club Constitution and Rules. One hand-written receipt dated 1/4/1957 for membership fee for Mr C. Pearce of the Hastings Yacht Club. One handwritten receipt dated 31/3/1958 for a donation of 10 pounds by Mr C. Pearce to the HYC fund. The 3 documents are framed on a green background in a lacquered timber frame.
