HISTORY

This ceramic bed warmer was used on French Island by the King family c.1929 and presented to the Hastings Historical Society by 'Monty' King in April 1984

DESCRIPTION

Cylindrical ceramic bottle with a flattened bottom. The main body is is covered in a beige coloured glaze with a flecked light brown end which tapers to a small protrusion which acts as a handle. A spout is attached to the top side of the bottle which has a cork stopper.
