Possibly used on a farm or in a domestic kitchen for preserving fruit.

DESCRIPTION

This large, bowl-shaped cast iron preserving pan is rounded at the top and tapers to a smaller concave bottom. The inside is coated in white enamel. A large spout is formed at the top and directly opposite is a small "grip", rectangular in shape. A large semicircular iron handle is attached to the top and a circular iron ring base is welded underneath.
